  Anies Baswedan Attends Hafidz Al-Quran Graduation Ceremony

JBN.CO.ID ■ The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan attended the Tabligh Akbar which was held by the Quantum Akhyar Institute at the Greater Jakarta Islamic Center (JIC), on Sunday (12/15).

Ustadz Adi Hidayat attended the event to fill religious lectures. Also present were Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly, Zulkifli Hasan, as well as mayors and regents from Sumatra and Sulawesi, Al Qur'an scholars Al Azhar, ambassadors from friendly countries, and worshipers from various regions.

This special event attracted the attention of congregants who attended up to 20,000 people.

On that occasion, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan said that Ustadz Adi expertly succeeded in building a remarkable movement (memorizing the Al qur'an).

"This movement is like a rising sun that brings a bright and happy atmosphere. Hopefully this as a sign of the awakening of Muslims will emerge from Indonesia's most prosperous expanse. Insha Allah will bring change to a better world order," he said.

Furthermore, Anies explained the Tafsir method developed by Ustadz Adi Hidayat could be developed throughout Indonesia, especially in DKI Jakarta. The governor requested that Ustazd Adi hold regular events at JIC.

"The DKI Government is ready to facilitate this activity," he said.

Meanwhile, Ustadz Adi Hidayat in his remarks thanked the Governor of DKI Jakarta for facilitating the success and smooth running of the grand tabligh.

"We, JIC, are ready to facilitate the activities of Ustadz Adi Hidayat periodically at the Greater Jakarta Islamic Center Raya Mosque. Because JIC was built for religious activities both small and large that present tens of thousands of worshipers," said Head of Islamic Central Secretariat JIC, Ahmad Juhandi.

This activity ended with the graduation of 23 people who memorized the Al Qur'an from all over Indonesia.
